Collectively, they resolved to create a Web site that would serve as a wide-ranging resource, offering information such as mall location, directions, hours and upcoming mall events, showcasing sales and promotions, and providing links to local news, weather and other regional sites. Another benefit to consumers-the site becomes a virtual mall by offering links to some store's Web sites. Consumers can also link to Regal Cinemas' site to learn movie times.

Theresa Baker, marketing manager of Pembroke Mall, said, "I could not be more excited about our new Web site. The new site is more user-friendly, and provides us with a basis to move forward.
