| FAQ: Employment Are you currently looking for new people? We make it our practice to always keep an eye out for talented individuals to add to our team. If you think you are that talented individual, read the questions below, see if you match up to what we want, and then follow the application instructions. I'm interested in applying - what skills should I have? Well, that's a two-parter. You should understand HTML code perfectly (no WYSIWYG editors, please!), be talented in Photoshop and have a basic understanding of JavaScript and Perl scripts. There are others skills you should have, too. You should be a good listener, and be able to take and give constructive criticism. You should be excited about the Web and enjoy what you do for a living, bringing enthusiasm to your projects. And you should be a good worker under tight deadlines, and also act as an innovative, contributing force to our team. If that describes you to a T, you're a shoe-in. I'm just starting out on the Web, will you hire me? To be honest - no, we won't. We're looking for experienced developers and programmers with a few URL's under their belts. However, if you are still a student, you can always look into our college intern program. I'm a college student looking for an internship, can I intern with you? We do accept college interns on our staff. It's a great experience - you learn all about the internet industry from the inside, have a fun time, flesh out your resume with some real-life experience and you can talk to your department about earning college credit. Some interns even go on to become paid, full-time developers! Okay, I think I'm qualified - how do I take to first step in applying? Get together a list of URL's of sites you've worked on, along with the most recent copy of your resume you can dig up, and email them to Rick. If you don't have a list of URL's, that should give you a big hint.
